Study visit to Tuzla – Bosnia and Hercegovina
Within the Catholic Relief Services (CRS) project, entitled “Sustainable Return and Integration of Displaced Persons and Refugees in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and Serbia”, on August 9 2019, a study visit was organized to the City of Tuzla and the Municipality of Kladanj, which hosted the visit.
The project is funded by the US Government – Department of Population, Refugees and Migration.
The aim of the visit was to gatrher the representatives of municipalities from Serbia, Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina in order to enable exchange of experiences related to the establishment of the social housing system, and to get acquainted with positive examples and practices of social housing in the City of Tuzla and the Municipality of Kladanj.
The visit was organized by the CRS and the Balkan Center for Migration and Humanitarian Activities (BCM).
The study vist participants were the representatives of the City of Sremska Mitrovica, Krupanj, Mionica, Podgorica, Herceg Novi, Kladanj and Tuzla, and representatives of the Ministry of Human Rights and Refugees of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which is responsible for coordinating the activities of the state Regional Housing Program in Bosnia and Herzegovina and a representative of the Legal Center.
