Training “Challenges of Integration of Foreigners: Improving Access to Economic and Social Rights”, from December 11 to 13, 2024. Hotel Monte Casa, Petrovac.

The Legal Center held a Training in Petrovac, at the Monte Casa Hotel, from December 11 to 13, 2024. entitled “Challenges of Integration of Foreigners: Improving Access to Economic and Social Rights” is underway with the financial support of the European Union within the project: Inclusion of Foreigners in the Western Balkans – Access to Social and Economic Rights (FOSTER).

The training is led by certified trainers Mirjana Pavićević and Danijela Brajković.

Some of the topics that will be covered at the training will be:

– Identification of persons in need of protection

– Rights of Foreigners in Montenegro

– Protection of the human rights of migrants in vulnerable situations, Protection from violence, abuse, exploitation

– Protection of the human rights of foreigners and Integration of foreigners in Montenegro, Right to work; Right to education, right to health and social protection.

– Right to life and prohibition of torture, Prohibition of torture, inhuman and degrading treatment; Right to liberty and security.

– Protection of migrants in human smuggling and trafficking

The training is attended by representatives of state institutions, the Employment Agency, the Health Insurance Fund, the Center for Social Work, the Directorate for Asylum, the Directorate for the Reception of Foreigners Seeking International Protection, the Directorate for the Integration of Foreigners with Approved International Protection and the Reintegration of Returnees upon Readmission, the Red Cross of Montenegro and non-governmental organizations.
